Celebrating 25 Years

Therapeutic Program

Our therapeutic program is integrated into every aspect of the school day, providing students with consistent support for emotional growth.

Individual Therapy

Each student meets with a licensed therapist twice weekly for individual sessions focused on their specific needs and goals.

  • Personalized treatment planning
  • Cognitive-behavioral interventions
  • Crisis support as needed

Group Therapy

Twice-weekly group sessions help students develop interpersonal skills and learn from peer experiences.

  • Social skills development
  • Peer support and feedback
  • Conflict resolution practice

Therapeutic Community Model

The Westfield Day School operates as a therapeutic community. This means that therapeutic principles inform not just formal therapy sessions, but every interaction throughout the school day.

Morning Meeting

Each day begins with a community meeting where students check in, share concerns, and set intentions.

Teachable Moments

Staff are trained to recognize and utilize challenging moments as opportunities for growth.

Regular activities foster connection, trust, and a sense of belonging among students.
